Our Surgical Costs, Insurance Coverage, and Financing Options

Dr. Sutton Graham and the team at Aesthetic Center Greenville are available to help you understand how plastic surgery financing works. 

If you call for general information on costs, Dr. Graham’s staff is happy to give typical fees for our select procedures. Fee ranges include the surgeon’s fee, the facility fee (our facility or hospital or ambulatory surgical center), and the anesthesiologist’s charges. Our surgeon’s fee includes performing the procedure and the typical postoperative visits, supplies used in the office, surgical garments, and a supply of home care products selected for specific procedures. The patient is responsible for medications used at home (prescription and over-the-counter) and simple dressing supplies.

At the end of your consultation visit, the Office Manager or Patient Coordinator will calculate an individualized fee quote, based on Dr. Graham’s estimates of suitable procedures and time involved.

There are possible cost savings when procedures in similar or related areas are done at the same time. However, patient safety or recovery issues may mean some procedures cannot be combined.

A partial deposit (20%) is due when a surgery date is scheduled, and the balance is due prior to your procedure.

Financing is frequently used by patients. Most often they use credit cards, home equity, or a local bank loan.  We also accept CareCredit for surgical procedures.  We do not recommend any particular finance company. We encourage patients to use financing wisely. The Patient Coordinator will be happy to discuss details with you.

Health insurance will not pay for surgery (surgeon, anesthesia or facility). The only reconstructive procedures we offer are breast reduction or reconstruction. These are usually covered, but the insurance company requires prior authorization. Our office staff will prepare the usual forms and send them to your insurance company. We are contracted with (“participating provider”) some, but not all, local insurance companies. Please call your insurance company or our staff to confirm that we work with your company.
