Breast Implant Problems / Correction / Revision: Case 6 (14460)
Description
This 56 year old woman was referred to Dr. Graham by her Ob/Gyn doctor after a routine mammogram showed that her silicone gel breast implants were leaking. Those had been placed 29 years earlier. Since then she had lived with hard capsular contractures. She requested new, smaller saline implants. Dr. Graham suggested conversion from subglandular to subpectoral position, through an areolar approach. She was 5' 3" tall and weighed 150#. She was otherwise healthy. The procedure was done at our office surgical facility under the care of an MD anesthesiologist. She went from a 36 C to a B cup (as requested) and is pleased with her results. "Love it." "Keep up the good work and caring. Thank you for everything. You're the best." We appreciate her too.
