Thigh Reduction / Thighplasty: Case 1 (687012)
Description
This 70 year old woman was frustrated by the appearance of her inner thighs, particularly the upper loose skin and fat. She consulted The Aesthetic Center Greenville and Dr. Graham for possible solutions. Liposuction would have increased the overall looseness. Coolsculpting was not ideal. Thigh lifts are able to hide a scar where the thigh meets the pelvis or along the inner thigh. The latter approach offer the best chance to tone her area of concern and improve the rest of the tight, to a lesser extent. The procedure, postoperative care, anticipated scar visibility, possible risk and complications were thoroughly discussed. We scheduled longitudinal thigh-pasty in our office surgical facility. Liposuction was used to reduce the thigh body fat and facilitate the removal of loose skin. Care was taken to minimize scar visibility because of its exposed location on the inner thigh. She reported very little pain after the procedure and wore compression stockings and or leggings for several weeks. She is extremely pleased with the improvement in her thighs.
