Breast Asymmetry / Deformity: Case 3 (14861)
Description
This 34 year old woman was referred to Dr. Graham by multiple established patients. She had done internet research before visiting us. Her problem was unbalanced, uneven breast shape and size. She wanted larger, symmetric breasts. She had breast fed 3 children. Her left breast was significantly larger than her right breast. The left had much more sagging. She wore a 36 A cup bra, but it did not fit well. She wanted to achieve full B to C size. After examination, measurements, trial breast sizers, and discussion of options she agreed with our recommendation for breast enlargement and lift, with differing techniques used on each side. On her left, we recommended a vertical pattern mastopexy with smaller implant (205ml). On her right, a areolar mastopexy and slightly larger 225ml implant. These procedures did not make her breasts exactly the same, but greatly improved her appearance; both with or without clothing. Bathing suits are much easier to find. Bras fit now (34 C). "I heart my new boobs. They are no longer comedy and tragedy." "Love them."
