Facial Eyelid Surgery / Blepharoplasty: Case 11 (11387)
Description
This woman in her 60's made an appointment to discuss eyelid enhancement (blepharoplasty). She didn't like the older appearance of her eyelid areas. She had no eye disease or visual problems. She was other wise healthy. Dr. Graham recommended treatment of the upper eyelid area by removal of excess skin and inner portion fat. He recommended removal of lower eyelid fat without skin removal (transconjunctival blepharoplasty). This was performed under anesthesia in our accredited in-house surgical facility. Even at her 1 week postop visit she already saw the improvement, "I'm so pleases. You did a miracle job." At 4 months she had healed very well, scars were tiny and the contours were good. "Keep up the good work," was her remark.
