Facial Facelift / Necklift: Case 26 (994446)
Description
This 65 year old woman consulted Dr. Graham about enhancing her facial appearance. She wanted to look younger, more attractive, have less looseness and fewer wrinkles. She was in good health and had no prior facial aesthetic surgery. We recommended a procedure to undo years of gravity's pull and relaxation of facial ligaments. Her natural tissues would be re-suspended under the surface, and the resulting loose skin from the cheeks and neck would be re-draped and removed. This constitutes a standard facelift. Upper and lower eyelid treatment (blepharoplasty) would be added. These procedures were performed at our accredited in-house surgical facility and she will return for several follow-up visits over the first year of recovery. Her first weeks include initial dressing change and assessment, lymphatic massages by our estheticians, and suture removal and evaluation with Dr. Graham. Later visits are gradually farther apart. We carefully help our patients through the entire process.
