Body Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty: Case 3 (10742)
Description
this 47 year old business woman only consulted us for her tummy tuck, reporting "your reputation is outstanding." She was in good health, weighted 190 pounds and stood 5' 3" tall. She had 2 children born by C-section. She was bothered by loose, hanging lax skin and fat in the lower abdomen. Dr. Graham discussed her options and recommended abdominoplasty (dermolipectomy) as the way to surgical remove the excess skin and fat, with a well concealed scar. The procedure was able to improve the upper abdominal profile as well. Six pounds of excess tissue were removed. Muscle tightening offered little benefit for her, and omitting this allowed her to return to work and activities sooner (which she did at 6 days postop). Months after surgery she had minimal numbness and a fading scar, and was loosing additional weight. She was quite happy with her result. Pant and shirts fit much better. "I am elated with the result." She told us, "you just don't know what this has done for me."
