Breast Augmentation : Case 86 (Client ID 4217458)
Description
This 52 year old woman consulted Aesthetic Center for improved breast appearance, specifically she wanted to be moderately larger, with a natural breast appearance and proportional body contours. She had 2 children and no personal or family history of breast diseases. She was not a smoker and in excellent health. She reported some mild visible differences between the two breasts. Her pre-op bra size was 32 A, and she requested C to D range post-op. We discussed the procedure, implant types and considerations, risks, recovery and long-term care. She was a good candidate for breast augmentation. She selected her best implant size using 3-D image simulation (Vectra - see elsewhere on our site) and sample sizers in a bra. She decided on 400ml. Later, during the procedure Dr. Graham used 410 on one side and 390 on the other to adjust for mild asymmetry; that is one of the advantages of saline implants. Her eventual bra size was 36C. The breast volume and contour were now more evenly matched, although she still had a mild difference in the nipples and areolas. Her final assessment, "Doing Great!"
