Breast Reduction: Case 23 (19909)
Description
This interesting 50 year old woman was referred by her physician and had a personal friend who has a positive experience with Dr. Graham. Ten years earlier she had successful gastric bypass and has maintained 150+ pound weight loss. In spite of this, her breasts remained large and saggy. She wore 36 DD and wanted B/C size cups. The left was larger. Thoracic back pain and migraine and tension headaches were her primary daily symptoms. The diagnosis, planned treatment, expected results, and possible complications were discussed, and insurance approval was obtained. Her surgery was done as an out-patient at Bon Secours Saint Francis Hospital. Dr. Graham removed 475gm from her right and 520gm from her left breast. She needed syringe removal of some blood clot. Her recovery was smooth otherwise. Her post-op breast size was 36 B cup. Neck and shoulder pain were completely gone. "I really like the new size."
