Breast Reduction: Case 31 (20362)
Description
This 50 yo woman suffered for years with very large breasts. She worked in our area hospital and was familiar with Dr. Graham and his prior patients. Her upper back pain was the worst daily symptom, in addition to shoulder, neck and breast pain. She had difficulty finding clothing and needed special order bras. 42 G was her size, and she requested decreasing that to a small C. She had previously tried weight loss without benefit. She had high blood pressure and diabetes mellitus, which were well controlled. Outpatient surgery was done at the hospital of her choice. There were no postop healing problems. Relief of symptoms was almost immediate, and upon each postop visit she repeated, "I'm so happy." "You changed my life." Her bra size postop was C-D range. There was no scar hypertrophy or keloid formation. She requested that others be able to see her Before & After photos online.
