Breast Lift / Mastopexy: Case 28 (20640)
Description
This 69 year old woman had wanted more attractive breasts for many years. "I want to fill out a bra for a change." She was wearing a 34 A cup and wanted B or C cup. She had no personal or family history of breast disease. She was in excellent general health, and participated in pilates, spinning, and running. Her left was slightly larger, with a lower nipple and areola. After trying on sizers and viewing Vectra 3-D imaging, she selected 250ml implants. In order to achieve a small lift and equalize the areolas, we suggested a peri-areolar or doughnut mastopexy along with augmentation. This was done in our accredited office surgical facility. She only needed pain medication for 2 days. She was very happy with her results and wrote a nice testimonial, "Ever since puberty I have waited to develop breasts the size of my friends. It became clear after the years rolled by that I was destined to be very small breasted and asymmetrical too! It has been a source of embarrassment, and a feeling of being incomplete. At an advanced age, I remedied the problem by having breast augmentation and a lift. It was unbelievable at first, and a source of wonder how I was transformed in appearance! Thank you Dr. Graham! You have worked wonders!"
