Breast Lift / Mastopexy: Case 40 (2491591)
Description
This 48 year old woman had enjoyed breast implants for many years, but now wanted new implants and lifted beasts. She was otherwise healthy, without personal or family history of breast disease, and pleased with her beast size. She had no breast implant complications or concerns. Her options were discussed. She would continue with safe saline implants. Lift would entail bringing the areola and nipple up and reducing the loose breast tissue and skin beneath the breast. The incisons were demonstrated and the procedures carefully explained in advance. The procedure was done under general anesthesia in our nationally accredited office surgical facility. The prior implants were intact and normal. A fresh set of saline implants were inserted. The capsule surrounding the implants was soft and pliable. It was reinforced internally along with the external lift and tightening. Careful incision closure was done to minimize scar appearance. She recovered well. Scars faded well. She was pleased with the results and happy to share them in our online photo gallery.
