Breast Lift / Mastopexy: Case 37
Description
This woman was uncomfortable with her sagging breasts. She consulted with Dr. Graham about options and he recommended surgical breast lift, known as mastopexy, in which her own breast tissue is raised back up onto her chest (off her lower ribs). Only skin is removed and all breast tissue is preserved. No implant is inserted. Natural breast and nipple sensation, and breast feeding ability, are usually maintained. Scars are necessary, but they are limited to the lower breast and hidden around the areola. Virtually all types of flattering lingerie, bathing suits and evening gowns can be worn afterward. And bras are no longer required to look good; you can wear that sundress or other bare shoulder looks.
